Fern Forest Eco - Village Field Work

Today we visited the Fern Forest Eco-Village  for the first time. We hiked through the forest on the trails and were able to see aloe plants, banana trees, mango trees, and other various plants that are used to make tea or that are edible. Some people had trouble climbing the steep hills while others were able to rock climb their way around the park. There was also a pet donkey, which gave us ideas for future possibilities within their business.

Following the trip to the eco-forest, we went straight to lunch and relaxed by the beach for the rest of the day. We were able to follow the shoreline and checked out another resorts not too far away. A little past that resort was a nude beach, we went close but decided that no one really wanted to get any closer.

The waves weren’t big today which gave us the perfect opportunity to go kayaking. Once again, we headed towards the nude beach but turned around before we got too close. Tonight, live entertainment is planned during and after the dinner hours. Tomorrow we will be meeting with the Fern Forest Eco-Village manager named Sean, in order to clarify any questions that we have.
